Only 372nm to go!

This morning has been taken up with adding some extra rigging on the boat to try and get some more speed! Gladly have come up with a solution and seems to be working! The blown out light weight spinnaker has been turned into a backstay staysail, and the rest of it is now an asymmetric inside the medium Spinnaker!

We also have the staysail u on a loose luff, and so we are moving at 8-9kn  in 10kn of wind, and to top it all on course!!

Everyone onboard is well, just looking fwd to getting in now!

ISIS Blog

Hey All,

Still playing catch up! Have made some ground on the others, not much but some!

We have jybed south again to try and get restored, and the tactical brilliance of our crew is finally being realised.

On a slightly less bullish note, Dave was desperate for me to tell his mother he misses her desperately, and that he is behaving himself. He also wanted to tell Lindsay she can have full use of travis's jeep.

I want to send my love to my own lovely mother, and anyone else who is missing me. Thats enough for now, signing out, Ollie

If anyone could e-mail us some wind that would be good. Otherwise we are
all still talking to each other and Ollie's cooking keeps on getting
better. We still believe we can win love to everyone. Andrew

Picked up some wind this morning, and are back on track! Hoping that
the rest will be gybing south, and give us chance to catch up! 1591nm to
go! A bit behind, but now making some good progress!

Hey All,

As we are struggling for wind out here, we decided to gybe and head
south last night, going down to just below 15N, and will be gybing west
again this afternoon, as there seems to be bit more wind down here!

Hoping that when the rest of the fleet gybe south we will be on them, a
calculated risk!

On the up side Andrew has taken it upon himself to give us pilates
sessions in the morning and Ian has taken to it well!!

With 1739nm to go, things are looking up!
